George (Georgios) Triantafillou

Georgios, the founder of GT Law

Created a vision to provide high quality, modern legal services to businesses and business people alike on a foundation of trust and professionalism. Georgios comes with a broad range of experience with civil litigation matters, including commercial law, insurance law, and intellectual property. More importantly for his business clients, he has a strong passion and robust experience with commercial contracts and corporate law. Georgios assists his large enterprise clients in the global corporate law space in drafting and reviewing complex commercial contracts for high value deals with other companies around the world. For businesses of all sizes, Georgios ensures that his corporate and commercial services gets them ahead of the competition.

Prior to his call to the Ontario Bar in the year 2020, Georgios was an articling student at a highly respected litigation firm in Toronto. He also was a summer student at a distinguished litigation and corporate law boutique firm in Toronto while completing his law degrees. Georgios is a graduate of the Dual JD program at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He also successfully completed the Certificate in Mining Law at Osgoode Hall Law School after the completion of his Articles. While in law school, Georgios represented Windsor Law in the Matthew Dinsdale National Labour Arbitration Competition and competed in the Hicks Morley Labour Moot. Prior to Law school, Georgios attended the University of Ottawa where he obtained a bilingual Masters of Arts in Political Science, focusing in the area of radical right political parties and political economy. He attended as a guest lecturer on austerity measures during the Eurozone economic crisis and Euroscepticism during this time at Carleton University. He also completed a Specialized Bachelors of Arts in Political Science at the French-speaking Glendon Campus at York University.
